WHY US?
Tenmar installs glass railing systems that close the gaps pets exploit. Pickets, balusters, and horizontal rails leave openings small dogs push through and cats climb. Our 12mm glass panels form one continuous surface, so there is nothing to slip between and nothing to scale.

FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
A few things homeowners ask before starting a pet safe glass railing project.
Are glass railings a safe choice for cats and dogs?
A properly installed system gives animals a solid barrier with no gaps or footholds, plus a clear line of sight so you can keep watch from indoors. On raised decks and balconies, supervision is still the sensible habit.
Are these railings dog proof for decks?
No railing is ever fully dog proof, though solid glass takes away the gaps and climbing points that let dogs slip past standard deck railings. With dog proof deck glass railings, the panel layout does as much work as the glass itself, which we set during the site visit.
How long will the install take?
Plan on 6 to 8 weeks from first measurement to a finished railing. That covers consultation, permitting, fabrication, and the install itself.
Will the railing meet building code?
Yes. Every Tenmar railing is designed and installed to satisfy current BC Building Code guard requirements for height, spacing, and load.
